Gamblers’ Anonymous Convention to be held in Ballybofey

A gamblers’ anonymous convention is being held at the Villa Rose Hotel & Spa in Ballybofey this weekend.

The theme for the weekend is “experience, strength, and hope.”

The convention will provide assistance for men and women who have a problem with gambling and are seeking help to stop, or for those affected by gambling addiction.

Gam-Anon is a fellowship for people; husbands, wives, family, close friends – all those who have been affected by gambling.

Gambling is one of the fastest growing addictions in Ireland today.

There has been a huge rise in the number of young people affected by gambling, mainly because of ease of access to online gambling.

For further convention details contact (087) 2431911 or see the Gamblers Anonymous website www.gamblersanonymous.ie
