The draws for the various Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Donegal Club Championships will be held this Saturday afternoon.

The draws will be made at Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure, Letterkenny at 2.15pm.

The Competitions Controls Committee (CCC) has announced that the first round of the championship will be held on the weekend of May 6/7.

In an unusual scenario, Burt and Naomh Muire will play Senior Championship football from Division 3 this year while Milford will compete in the Intermediate Championship out of Division 1 of the League.

Burt (pictured) are back in the SFC following their IFC final win over Milford in 2016. Naomh Muire were relegated in the League, but managed to hold onto their SFC spot.

Glenfin have dropped down to the Intermediate Championship while Naomh Colmcille, Intermediate finalists as recently as 2015, have returned to the Junior ranks this year, with Downings, the 2016 JFC winners, moving up to Intermediate.
