Malin GAA club to hold volunteer meeting on Friday

All county league fixture: Sunday 9th of April: Malin V Sean MacCumhaill in Connolly Park, Malin at 3:00pm, reserves at 1:30pm, all support welcome.

 

Tom Farren Cup

The seniors beat Urris in the semi-final of the Tom Farren cup last week and will be playing the final at a date yet to be confirmed – Facebook will have match details when they are known.

 

Volunteer Meeting

There will be a meeting in the clubhouse for all club members at 9:00pm on Friday the 7th of April. The purpose of this meeting is to try and get more members to become more active within the club. There are many areas in the running of the club that need volunteers and we want everyone in the community to be involved in the club and if you can help in anyway please come along.               .

Easter Camp

This year’s Easter camp will take place on Wed 19th, Thurs 20th and Fri 21st of April from 10:00am – 2pm daily. The camp registration day will be Sunday 16th of April at 11:30am to 12:30pm.

Each child will recieve an O’Neills football. For more information contact Danny Lafferty on 0868988180. Prices are 30€ for the first child and €25 for each child thereafter.

Underage

The under 12s beat Naomh Colmcille last week, they play Carndonagh in Connolly Park on Tuesday at 6:30.

The under 16’s lost to Naomh Padraig, Muff last week and play Burt away on Friday night.

The minors had a good win against Carndonagh on Sunday on a scoreline of Malin 3-11 Carndonagh 1-07. They had an all-round good team effort with Conor Gallagher back in the side after injury. Pauric O’Donnell made some great saves while Joseph Doherty (P.M), Oisin McGonagle and Andrew McDaid were the goalscorers on the day.

Underage training times

The Under 6 fundamentals sessions are held every Sunday at 10:00-11:15am.

The Under 8’s Boys training sessions are held every Saturday at 3:00-4:15pm

The Under 10’s Boys training sessions are held every Sunday at 11:30-12:45pm

The Under 12’s Boys training sessions are held every Friday at 6:15-7:30pm

The Under 6, 8 and 10 Girls training sessions are held every Saturday at 11:00am-12:00pm   The Under 12’s Girls training are held every Monday at 4:30 – 5:30pm

The Under 14’s Girls training sessions are held every Wednesday at 5:15-6:15pm

The Under 18’s Girls training sessions are held every Tuesday 4:30-5:30pm                                                                                                                                                           Club Pool Room

Our Pool Room is open Saturday & Sunday evening from 8pm-11pm every weekend. For more information contact John JM on 086 3858654.

Rising Stars Music Academy
The ‘Rising Stars Music Academy’ will start on Saturday the 28th of January. For more information contact Annah Lafferty on 0866680565. The times for each session are 12:15-1:00pm for the 5-10 age group and 1:00-1:45pm for the 11-16 age group.  Classes will be €5.

The Club Shop is open every Saturday from 12.00pm to 2pm and Sunday from 11.20am to 2pm, alternatively contact Susan Byrne on 9370638 or 0867832242.
