NEXT SATURDAY’S fixture between Burt and Kilybegs in the Micheal Murphy Sports & Leisure Donegal SFC has been postponed.
Donegal GAA this evening confirmed the Group B fixture, which was due to take place at Hibernian Park in Burt, will now take place at a latter date as a consequence of the Donegal hurlers’ involvement in the Nicky Rackard Cup.
Burt have a sizable contingent of dual players and Donegal hurlers will enter the backdoor of the competition next weekend having lost today’s quarter-final against Tyrone, 4-19 to 0-16.
That means that the only other fixture in the Donegal SFC next Saturday, May 6, will be the other Group B clash, with Termon welcoming Naomh Muire.
