Lagan Harps FC: Club enjoys successful night at the races

Lagan Harps FC News:

Our men’s team completed their season with a 1-1 draw away to St Catherines. Kenny Doran was the scorer.

Our u/16’s had a 6-0 win over Castlefin Celtic, with goals from Bradley Doherty, Philip Gallagher, Noel Donnelly, Ronan McKinley (2) and Dean Murray.

Our u/14’s had a 1-0 win Over Fintown Harps with Caomhan Wheler scoring.  While our u/12 Cubs had a 4-0 win over Drumkeen with goals from Darragh Lynch (2), Tadgh Kelly, Tiernan Dunne. They also had a 4-2 win over Curragh Athletic.

Our U9’s had an excellent weekend. On Sunday, our two teams reached the final of a tournament in Strabane, with Lagan Juniors beating Lagan Youths 1-0, Oisin Feeney scoring the goal. On Saturday, they reached the semi-final of a tournament in Omagh.

Our women’s team started their season with a 4-0 loss away to Illies. Our U/16’s had a 2-1 win over Kilmacrennan Celtic, with goals from Paula Valles.

On Sunday night, the club held a very successful Night at the Races. Thanks to our sponsors, everyone who bought a horse or attended the event and to Gerry Brycelan for running the event.

In our weekly lotto, the numbers drawn were 9,10,18 and 24. Fifteen people had two numbers with Conor Mc Gee drawn out and winning €50. Next week’s jackpot is €775.
