Dooish National School returned home from Monaghan this evening as Ulster Champions in Boys Soccer.

Following an opening match defeat, 2-1 by Gowna from Co. Cavan, the boys dug deep defeating Scoil Rois from Co. Monaghan in the second match by 4 – 2.

Needing a big victory in the last match Dooish won 7 -1 to beat Whitecastle from Inishowen.

In a very tight group Dooish had a better goal average to go through to the All-Ireland Finals in the Aviva on 31st May.

Well done to Kevin, Darragh and all the squad who played their part for Mr.McDevitt on a memorable day for the school. A

huge crowd of supporters welcomed them back to the school where refreshments were provided by Alice Bonner.

A busy day for Dooish NS. who enjoyed a lovely Sports Day at the Finn Valley Centre and also collected their 5th Green Flag in Letterkenny.
