Champagne corks are being popped in Carrigart after a local shop sold a ticket worth €6,172,404!
Mickey Joe’s Country Store in Umlagh, Carrigart sold the €6 million ticket, with the other lucky ticket being sold in Dublin.
The Lotto have been in touch with Mickey Joe’s Country Store to confirm that the ticket was sold on their premises, however the identity of the winner is yet to be announced.
Last night’s jackpot of €12 million was split between the Donegal winner and the Dublin winner – both wins were from quick pick plays.
The winning numbers are as follows: 3, 7, 17, 21, 22 and 28, and the Bonus number is 2.
This is not the first time lotto fever has hit Carrigart, with Boyce’s Centra selling a ticket worth €2 million last October.
