The crowds were out in force for the latest Horse and Pony Club race meeting at Porthall yesterday.

Pat Taaffe landed a treble haul of winners: claiming the Maiden One-and-a-half Mile on Dream A Dream; winning the One-and-a-half Mile Open on Chasing a Dream; and the One Mile Open on Gold Dream.

Taaffe also had three second place finishes on the day.

The next meeting on the local circuit is on Sunday, June 11 in Ramelton.
