Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Friday, June 9th.

Thomas HIRRELL
The death has occurred of Thomas Hirrell of Rashenny, Clonmany / formerly of Tul-Na-Rí, Carndonagh.

Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest took place yesterday at 3pm to Joyce Cooke’s residence, Rashenny, Clomany. Removal on Saturday, 10th June, at 9.30am to St. Mary’s Church, Clonmany for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Carndonagh Community Hospital Patients Comfort Fund. House private please from 10pm to 11am.

 

Gerard DOYLE
The death has occurred of Gerard Doyle of 10 Ard na Greine, Buncrana, Donegal / Bray, Wicklow / Dublin.

The sudden death of Gerard Doyle has taken place at his home following an illness on Thursday the 8th June, sadly missed by his wife Mary, children Hannah and John James, his parents Jim and Dolores, his sisters Camilla, Sinead and Finola, his brothers Conan and Fintan, his brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, his many friends and relations. Funeral Mass Saturday at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill with burial in adjoining graveyard.

 

Annie LAVERTY
The death has occurred of Annie Laverty of Drumboe, Stranorlar, peacefully at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny, surrounded by her family.

Much loved sister of Bernard, Maureen, Josephine, Margaret, also the late Patrick, John, Willie, Katie, Dan, Harry, Michael and Dessie. Sadly missed by her brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family circle and friends.

Remains reposing at her home from 5pm on Friday June 9th. Funeral leaving her home on Sunday June 11th at 10.15am for Requiem Mass at 11am in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, followed by interment in Drumboe Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny, c/o any family member. Family time from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.
