A local man in his 80s is still in a critical condition following yesterday’s crash outside Letterkenny.

The single vehicle incident happened before 1pm near the Silver Tassie Hotel.

A full Garda investigation has been launched into the cause of the crash.

However, it is understood the man may have suffered a medical episode before the crash.

It is believed he is in an induced coma at Letterkenny University Hospital.
