Joshua Magee to meet second seed at US Open in California

Joshua Magee meets second seed Prannoy HS from India in the second round of the Yonex US Open.

Magee is the only one of the siblings still in the competition following his win over American Sattawat Pongnairat. Magee claimed a 21-9 21-15 win in California to advance.

Sam and Chloe Magee put up a strong fight in their opener, but went down 21-16 21-16 to Korean pair Kim Won Ho ann Shin Seung Chan.

In the men’s doubles, Joshua and Sam Magee lost out 21-11 21-15 to Korea’s Choi Solgyu and Jae Hwan Kim.
