Two people are due to appear before court this morning following a drugs raid in Letterkenny last night.

The pair, a man and a woman, were arrested following the bust at a house in Glenoughty Close.

Gardai say that around €7,500 worth of cannabis herb was found.

A Garda source described the raid as ’substantial’.

The two were detained and questioned by Gardai and will be brought before Letterkenny District Court this morning charged with drugs offences.
