Listen: Micheál Naughton looks ahead to Donegal Ladies’ All-Ireland quarter-final

Donegal ladies manager Micheál Naughton wants his side to recapture their Ulster final form in tomorrow’s All-Ireland quarter-final with Mayo.

Naughton and his Donegal side travel to the Midlands today ahead of tomorrow’s showdown at Cusack Park, Mullingar (2.15pm).

Donegal defeated Monaghan in the Ulster final last month, the Tir Chonaill women winning 4-11 to 0-15 to win the county’s second Ulster crown.

“It’s getting back to that level and pace, but the girls are going very well in training,” Naughton said.

“We know that we can get back to the level we were at in the Ulster final and that we can get a win at the weekend.

“If we get that performance that we had in the Ulster final, it will take a massive team to beat us.

“If we get the ball into our forwards like we want, Mayo will be worried more about us than we will be about them.”
