Listen: Arthur Lynch aiming for more improvement at Fanad United

It was a term of improvement for Fanad United last season – and Arthur Lynch wants more of the same at Triagh-A-Locha this time around.

Fanad begin the new season with an away game at Derry City on Sunday in the Donegal News Ulster Senior League Cup.

Fanad have added the likes of Tony McNamee and Darragh Black to their ranks and will hope to be competitive.

“Cockhill won the League and are the target again,” Lynch (above left) said.

“Last year, we improved on the year before and we want to step it up again. Last year, we were good in patches, but we weren’t consistent enough.

“The players we have taken in are winners. They’re willing to compete and that’s the type of player we’re looking for.”
