Draw made for Voodoo Venue Cup as new Donegal League season launched

The draw was made for the 2017/18 Voodoo Venue Cup last evening when the official launch of the new Donegal Junior League season took place at the Diamond Park, Ballyare.

Arranmore United are the holders having beaten Strand Rovers in last season’s final. Jerry Early’s Islanders have been drawn in the preliminary round, where they will meet Glencar Celtic in a home game for Arranmore.

Strand, meanwhile, are also in the preliminary round and will host Castlefin Celtic.

There will be four preliminary round ties, with the winners advancing to the round of 16.

No dates have been confirmed for these fixtures yet.
