Listen: An emotional Patrick McBrearty says Kilcar’s success ‘means everything’

PATRICK MCBREARTY MIGHT consider himself lucky to have won both Ulster and All-Ireland titles with Donegal while he was still in his teens.

But closer to home, there’s been a yearning for success with his club Kilcar.

Today, after the 0-7 to 0-4 win over Naomh Conaill, the now 25-year-old McBrearty became the first Kilcar captain to lift the Dr Maguire Cup since Mark McShane in 1993 and the emotional McBrearty spoke from his heart to Charlie Collins afterwards …
