Owenie McGarvey watched Naomh Muire fight back from four points down to earn a replay with Ardara and was thrilled how his man rolled the sleeves up.
Naomh Muire were staring at defeat in the relegation play-off until they summonsed a late salvo, completed when Daniel Devlin rattled in his second goal of the game.
“We battled well,” McGarvey said.
“I was very happy with it. We could have wilted, but there’s plenty of fight in them. The boys deserved to get this result. It says a lot about them.”
