Anthony Gorman admits that he was ‘frustrated’, but was delighted to see his Letterkenny Rovers team continue their perfect start to the Donegal Youth League season.

Ryan O’Donnell’s late goal gave Letterkenny a narrow 1-0 win at Keadue Rovers.

“It was very frustrating,” Gorman said.

“We started off really well and we created three really good chances. I had said to them before the game, that no matter what type of team we’ve had here they have always given us a tough game.”

Letterkenny have won all three of their games so far this year and Gorman said: “Young players, it’s always been the same, the most difficult thing is getting consistency out of them. There is that unpredictability about them.”
