McBrearty scored a stunning 2-9 to steer Kilcar to a win over St Michael’s in a goal-fest at Towney.

Aaron McShane netted Kilcar’s opening goal, but they needed two frees and a penalty goal by McBrearty to lead 2-4 to 2-3 at the break.

Three goals in a row, by Cormac Cannon, McBrearty and Conor Doherty, sent Kilcar on their way to the next round.
