Letterkenny primary school Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál will be welcoming both girls and boys to their annual open day as part of their move to mixed-sex education.

Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál in Letterkenny will hold their annual Open Day on Friday 24th November from 10am until 2pm.

This is for the parents of pre-school children to give them the opportunity to view the facilities and experience the school environment.

There will be school as normal on this day.  Locals are asked to inform anyone they know who may have a child of school going age about the Open Day.

The Board of Management of Scoil Mhuire gan Smál recently announced that it will take in girls and boys in Junior Infants from September 2018. The school will continue to take in girls from Senior Infants – 6th class.
