Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Saturday, November 25.

 

Kathleen SMITH
The death has occurred of Kathleen Smith, Milford, Donegal.

Reposing at her late residence since yesterday, Friday, from 6pm. Removal today, Saturday, to St Peter’s Church, Milford to arrive at 7.15pm to repose overnight. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Milford Cemetery.

 

Maureen KERR
The death has occurred of Maureen Kerr, Ceol Na Mara, Crossconnell, Clonmany, Donegal.

Removal took place yesterday from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny to her late residence. Removal on Sunday at 11.10am to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. House private from 10pm until 11am.

 

Philip DOHERTY
The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Phil Doherty (Foggy) 1 Ardravan, Buncrana. Remains reposing at his residence.

Funeral from there at 10.15 a.m. on Sunday 26th going to St Mary’s Church Cockhill for 11 a.m. requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Family time from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m.

 

Jim SHIELS
The death has taken place November 24th 2017 at his home of Jim Shiels – Drumenon, St Johnston. Beloved husband of Jennifer, much loved father of Gary and Aisling, dearly loved grandfather of Cora, Enya amd Riely and brother of Liz, Laurence and the late Teresa and May.

Reposing at his home on Saturday (November 25th) from 11a.m. Funeral leaving his home on Monday (November 27th) at 10.15a.m. for Requiem Mass in St Baithin`s Church, St Johnston at 11a.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, brother, sister and family circle. Donations in lieu of flowers please to th Oncology Ward, Letterkenny University Hospital Family time please from 10p.m. to 11a.m.
