Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Wednesday, December 6.

 

Hugh HARLEY
The death has occurred of Hugh Harley, Edrim Glebe, Mountcharles, Donegal, at Aras Mhic Shuibhne Nursing Home, Mullinasole, Laghey.

Reposing at his late residence today, Wednesday, from 1pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Killymard for 11am Funeral Mass followed by burial in local cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Bluestack Foundation Centre, Donegal Town.

 

Maggie PATTON
The death has occurred of Maggie Patton, 17 Wolf Tone Place, Letterkenny, Donegal.

Reposing at Lake House Nursing Home, Portnablagh. Removal from the nursing home today, 6th December, at 3pm to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 7th December, at 10am followed by burial in St. Agatha’s Cemetery, Clar, Donegal. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Lake House Patient Comfort Fund.

 

Briege MCDEVITT
The death has occurred of Briege McDevitt, Drimnafinaqle, Kilcar, Donegal.

Removal from her residence on Thursday at 11.30am for Funeral Mass in St. Cartha’s Church, Kilcar, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Kilcar Cemetery.

 

Mary Ellen (May) DOHERTY (née Harley)
The death has occurred at Hillcrest House, Long Lane, Letterkenny of Mary Ellen (May) Doherty, 15, Clachan Mór, Windy Hall, Letterkenny, née Harley, (Trentagh) and formerly Doherty’s Shop, Kilmacrennan. Predeceased by her husband John, loving mother of Frankie (Fernhill, Letterkenny) and Eugene (Inis Lua, Fr. Russell Rd. Limerick), and Marie Coyle (Clachan Mór), daughters-in-law Carmel and Rachel, son-in-law Joe, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May’s remains are reposing at her late residence 15, Clachan Mór. Funeral from there on Thursday, 7th Dec., going to St. Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennan for 11am Requiem Mass, with burial afterwards in the family plot in the adjoining Churchyard.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Hill Crest House, Residents Comfort Fund, c/o Paschal Blake Funeral Director, Stoney Arch, New Line Road, Letterkenny. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

 

Lizzy CURRAN
The death has occurred of Lizzy Curran, East End, Bundoran, Donegal, peacefully at Aras Mhic Shuibhne, Mullinasole, Laghey.

Funeral Mass took place today at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Bundoran at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh’s Cemetery, Bundoran. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to Aras Mhic Shuibhne, Mullinasole, Laghey.
