Paddy McCourt has put pen to paper for another season at Finn Harps, who have also confirmed the re-signing of Gareth Harkin.

McCourt signed for Harps on the eve of the 2017 campaign and proved a huge hit among the Finn Park faithful.

McCourt had his injury trouble over the term, but still managed 28 appearances (starting 23 of those games), scoring two goals.

“Paddy McCourt gave great commitment to Finn Harps after joining for me last February,” Harps manager Ollie Horgan said.

“It’s great to have him in again and his presence is a very encouraging sign but there’s still a long road to go in terms getting a decent squad together.”

Harkin has also agreed terms for another season at Finn Park.

Horgan said of the 29-year-old Letterkenny man: “Gareth has been with me for the past four years and I expect him to be a key player in midfield against very strong teams in the First Division next season.”
