A 12th minute goal by Ross Marley set Coláiste Ailigh up for a deserved win.

The game Magh Ene men were perhaps out of the game before they could even come into it as they found themselves 1-6 to no score in arrears after only 22 minutes.

The goal arrived when Donal Higgins teed up Marley, who made no mistake with an excellent finish past Cian McGloin.

Marley and Sean Ryan had kick-started the scoring burst for Coláiste Ailigh with early points.

Marley again, Conor McMenamin, Iarla McGinley and Diarmuid Cahill posted as John Bosco Gallagher’s side built up an unassailable advantage.

After the re-start, a free from Eoin McGeehin stretched the lead for the Coláiste Ailigh men.

Adam McGloin, Daithi McGloin and Caolan Clancy kept Magh Ene in touch, but in the final five minutes Coláiste Ailigh sealed the deal.
