Listen: John Bosco Gallagher on Coláiste Ailigh’s Senior B title win

John Bosco Gallagher says his Coláiste Ailigh team have come on leaps and bounds since a county final defeat two years ago.

Since losing at under-16 level to Moville that year, they have shown vast signs of improvement and today they defeated Magh Ene to retain their Donegal Senior B Schools title.

“It’s huge,” Gallagher said.

“We lost a final to Moville two years ago. There’s been huge improvement. We’ve got a lot of work done and they’re doing a lot of work in their clubs.”

Ross Marley’s goal after 12 minutes proved the game’s big score with Coláiste Ailigh running out 1-12 to 0-6 winners.

Gallagher said:  “The goal gave us a cushion. Only for it, we’d have gone in at half-time under a lot more pressure.”
