Hundreds of people are expected to turn out for the 47th annual Finn Valley AC St Stephen’s Day 5k tomorrow.

The popular event has become an integral part of the calendar.

The honorary starter for tomorrow’s run will be retired national school teacher Manus O’Donnell, who was the first ever secretary of the Finn Valley AC and a driving force of athletics during his time at Glencovitt NS.

The race gets underway at 12noon and walkers, joggers and runners are all welcome.
