Kilian Cantwell set for Seaview move after leaving Finn Harps

Defender Kilian Cantwell has become the latest Finn Harps player to move to the Irish League.

Centre-back Cantwell has signed for Crusaders having left Harps following their relegation at the end of the 2017 season.

The 23-year-old Kilkenny man – who linked up with Harps for the 2017 campaign – will join Buncrana’s Jonny Bonner, who confirmed a move to Crusaders before Christmas.

Cantwell had been tipped for a move to Derry City, but instead has signed for Stephen Baxter’s Crusaders. The Seaview outfit are currently second in the Irish League Premier Division.

Earlier this week, Damien McNulty was announced by Carrick Rangers, ending a five-year spell at Harps.
