Three games in the Donegal Junior League that were called off late in the day yesterday are to be referred to the League’s disciplinary committee, it has been confirmed.

All bar one of the 15 games in the three Divisions of the Sunday League were postponed because of the icy conditions.

The only game to survive was Erne Wanderers’ 2-1 win over Keadue Rovers in Temple Domestic Appliances Division One.

Most of the games were called off following morning pitch inspections.

The Ratmullan Celtic v Donegal Town game in the Premier Division, the clash of Ballybofey United and Bonagee United in Division One and the meeting of Raphoe Town and Lifford Celtic, also in Division One, were only postponed with the teams and the appointed referee at the respective venues.

Donegal League Secretary Christina O’Donnell has confirmed that the circumstances surrounding those games and the procedures employed will now be discussed by the disciplinary committee.
