Gardai are awaiting the results of a post-mortem following the discovery of a woman’s body in Letterkenny yesterday.
The body was found in a house at Brook Court yesterday.
A Garda forensic team spent yesterday at the scene carrying out an investigation.
It is not known if the woman had suffered any injuries.
A Garda spokesman said that the incident is currently being treated as a sudden death.
The result of the post-mortem will determine the direction of the Garda investigation.
