Drivers urged to slow down and use lights as fog continues

Gardai are warning motorists to continue to exercise caution as a thick blanket of fog continues to cover many parts of the county.

Fog developed in many parts yesterday and has lingered through the night making driving conditions particularly difficult in some places.

Gardai are encouraging drivers to slow down and to use the fog lights.
