Donegal Death Notices – Rest in Peace

Donegal death notices for today, Saturday, January 13.

 

Rose GLEESON (née Anderson)
The death has occurred of Rose Gleeson (née Anderson), Ardnaganna, Killygordon, Donegal, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital after a long illness, 11th January, 2018.

Beloved wife of Colm, much loved mother of Garrett, Antoinette, Conor and Colleen and mother in law of Orlaith, Paul, Patrick and the late Sarah, devoted granny of Senan, Sadhbh, Naoise, Cliodhna, Ultan, Darragh and Caoimhe, loving sister of Marina, P.J. Brian, Peter, Eugene, Fergal and the late Liam, Dermot and Plunket.

Reposing at her late home from 3pm to 9pm on Saturday, 13th January. Funeral from the family home on Sunday, 14th January, at 11.30am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St. Vincent De Paul c/o any family member.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, sons, daughters, daughter in law, sons in law, grandchildren, sister, brothers, sisters in law, brother in law, cousins and a wide circle of friends, neighbours and ex-colleagues.

 

Margaret (Peggy) MC CORMICK
The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Margaret (Peggy) Mc Cormick, 92 Ard Mc Cool, Stranorlar, and formerly Trusk, Ballybofey. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at her home, 92 Ard Mc Cool, Stranorlar this Saturday, Jan 13th, from 6pm. Funeral leaving her home on Monday, Jan 15th, at 10.30am for requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill at 11 am, with interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

 

Annie GREENE (née Harley)
The death has occurred of Annie Greene (née Harley), Ballaghderg, Letterkenny, Donegal, formerly Annagry East.

Funeral mass took place this morning, Saturday 13th January, at 10.15am at St. Eunan’s Cathedral Letterkenny. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church adjoining graveyard, Annagry. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Surgical 2 Ward, Letterkenny University Hospital.

 

Theresa GALLAGHER (née Carr)
The death has occurred of Theresa Gallagher (née Carr), Chapel Road, Dungloe, Donegal, formerly of Loughasalt and Glasgow.

Funeral Mass took place this morning, Saturday, at 11am at St. Crona’s Church, Dungloe with burial afterwards in Maghery Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Dungloe Hospital Patients Comfort Fund.

 

Bridget CAMPBELL
The death has occurred of Bridget Campbell, Three Trees, Quigley’s Point, Donegal.

Requiem Mass took place this morning, Saturday, at 11am in St. Columba’s Church, Drung. Burial afterwards in the adjoining burial ground.
