Man City tie the carrot as Conrad Logan and Mansfield face Cardiff in FA Cup

Conrad Logan is aiming to help League Two Mansfield Town into an FA Cup fourth round clash with runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City.

Logan and Mansfield host Cardiff City tonight at Field Mill in a third round replay with a home tie against Pep Guardiola’s Man City the prize on offer.

Logan has been in super form for the Stags this season. The Ramelton native has kept eight clean sheets, including in the 0-0 draw at Cardiff.

A stunning save to keep out a goal-bound header from his own defender Krystian Pearce in injury time earned Mansfield a replay.

Steve Evans’ Mansfield have lost just once in their last 20 outings and drew 0-0 with Cambridge on Saturday.

Mansfield are seventh in League Two while Neil Warnock’s Cardiff are third in the Championship after the weekend’s 4-0 win over Sunderland.
