Donegal death notices for today, Friday, January 26.

 

Danny O’BRIEN
The death has occurred of Danny O Brien, Clonbeg, Buncrana, Co. Donegal / Longford Town, Longford at Letterkenny University Hospital. Predeceased by his daughter Miriam. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, Isabel and children Diarmud, Michael, Margaret, Shane, Danielle, Jennifer, Susan and Emmet, Sisters, Sisters-in-Law, Sons-in-Law, Daughters in Law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his family home from 11am to 10pm, on Friday. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Cockhill on Saturday 27th January at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family Flowers only. Donations, if any desired to the patients Comfort Fund, Letterkenny University Hospital C/o any family member. House strictly private on Saturday morning.

 

Joe MAXWELL
The sudden death has taken place at his residence of Joe Maxwell, Cloughfin, Castlefin.

Reposing at his residence. Leaving there on Saturday 27 January at 2pm for service at 2.30pm in Donoughmore Presbyterian Church and burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family time from 11pm until 11am. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Donoughmore Presbyterian Church or Chest Heart and Stroke Association care of Gibson Funeral Directors, Convoy.

 

Michael KELLY
The death has taken place at Letterkenny University of Michael Kelly 215 Ros Suilighe, Old Town, Letterkenny.

Remains will be reposing at his residence. Requiem Mass in St Eunan’s Cathedral at 11am on Saturday followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery.

 

Hudie COYLE
The death has occurred of Hudie Coyle, Glassagh, Gweedore, Donegal.

Removal from the residence of his nephew John and Eileen Coyle, Glassagh, Gweedore today Friday 26th January to St Colmcille’s Chapel, Knockfola for Requiem Mass at 1pm followed by burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Bridget BYRNE
The death has occurred of Bridget Byrne, Meenlaragh, Gortahork, Donegal.

Reposing at the family home in Meenlaragh. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 1pm at Christ the King’s Church, Gortahork followed by burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral. Rosary at 9pm.

 

Denis GREENE
The death has occurred of Denis Greene, Glenvar, Donegal. Late of Aiken Head Road, Glasgow.

Requiem Mass took place at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church this morning (Friday) followed by burial in Glenvar Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Diabetes Association UK.

 

Neil MCFADDEN
The death has occurred of Neil McFadden, Knocfola and Glasgow.

Funeral Mass took place this morning (Friday) 11am in St. Colmcille’s Church, Knockfola. Burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
