22/1 winner for on-song Martin Harley at Lingfield

Martin Harley saddled a 22/1 winner at Lingfield this afternoon.

Harley rode Folie Douze to victory in the Betway Novice Stakes.

The Henry Spiller-trained three-year-old was sent off at 22/1 and kicked clear two furlongs from home in the six-furlong race.

The advantage was reduced by No More Thrilles, the Gary Mahon-ridden 3/1 shot, but Folie Douze was never going to be caught.

Folie Douze opened at 16/1 and was as far out as 25/1 in the market before starting at 22s.

Jolie Douze and Harley had three-quarters of a length to spare.
