WATCH: Daniel puts his foot down on Dermot Bannon’s renovation dreams

There is just one week to go until the much-anticipated episode of ‘Room to Improve’ with Daniel and Majella O’Donnell – and we have a sneak peek to see what’s in store.

Country music legend Daniel O’Donnell and his wife Majella have been described by RTE as ‘feistiest and most single-minded clients to date’ for celebrity architect Dermot Bannon in the popular property series.

Daniel and Majella agreed to let Dermot renovate their four-bed home in Kincasslagh last year, and the work was finally completed last week after the project unexpectedly became a large-scale transformation, which Daniel has admitted he wasn’t too pleased about.

In this sneak peek from the show, viewers see Daniel struggling to have an input as Majella and Dermot talk about their ideas for the home. “Gee whiz!” the exasperated star says.

Will Daniel manage to assert any control in the renovation? Whatever happens, this looks set to be the most memorable saga yet of the ‘homes of Donegal’.

Room to Improve airs on RTE One, Sunday 18th February at 9.30pm
