Delight as Jasper returns home

There’s great happiness in the Glebe, Letterkenny, as beloved family pet Jasper is reunited with his family.

Jasper went exploring on Wednesday evening, but was soon reunited with his owners thanks to the work of two kind strangers and animal welfare charity Animals in Need.

Owner Aisling tells Donegal Daily that she is delighted to have him home where he belongs.

“He had wandered onto the Ramelton rd and a couple stopped to lift him as they were worried about him.

“They tried many houses in the Glebe to try find his home but didn’t make it as far as ours. So they took him home to Kiltoy and contacted Animals in Need who know we were looking for him and passed on our number.

“We are so touched by the kindness shown by everyone… a great big injection of all the good there is out there!”
