The Loreto Letterkenny girls had two teams competing in the Ulster Schools Cross Country Championships in Mallusk yesterday.
The team of Chloe Shiels, Nicole McDaid, Demi Crossan, Emma Gribben, Alisha Cuskelly and Lesha Kelly put in a marvellous performance to finish in third place in the minor girls race.
Sarah Bradley, Elle Crossan, Tiegan Smith, Nuala Bose, Aibhe McDaid and Darci Crossan put in a real team performance to come away with bronze medals in the junior girls race.
Both teams now qualify for the All Ireland schools championships in Waterford on the 10th of March.
