Job vacancy: Quality Technician sought for Donegal company

A Food Company in North West Donegal has a vacancy for the following position:

Quality Technician

Job Description includes

         Monitoring and reporting of quality standards to the Quality Manager

  • Review product testing results and take appropriate action for any OOS results
  • Working closely with Production to implement corrective action and identify root cause of the problem to prevent any re-occurrence
  • Monitoring of the production process in line with factory HACCP, BRC and Customer Standards
  • Ensure Traceability and mass balance is maintained
  • Internal auditing.
  • Support and participate in audits
  • Deputising for Quality Manager in their absence

Criteria/Essential Experience

  • A diploma or higher in Food Science or related subject
  • Strong understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems
  • Knowledge of the BRC food standards desirable
  • Self- motivated personality
