The death has occurred at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, Dublin of Philomena (Phil) Dawson, retired State Laboratory, Dublin, 37, The Paddocks, Hybreasal Court, South Circular Rd. Dublin 8, formerly 33, Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny, predeceased by her parents Jack and Agnes (née Moles) and brothers John and Paidin, deeply regretted by her family, brothers Mark and Paschal (England), sister Mary, Errigal Rd. Letterkenny, sister-in-law Bobby (England), nieces Nicola, Pippa and Antonia (England), extended family, cousins, relatives and friends.
Philomena’s remains will be received to St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal at 5 pm on Thursday 22nd March, reposing overnight for 10 am Requiem Mass on Friday 23rd. March. Funeral and interment afterwards in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery. Gilbert BURNS
The death has occurred at Killybegs Community Hospital of Gilbert Burns, Gortnasillagh, Glenties and formerly Belfast.
His remains will repose from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday evening 20th March at Shovelin’s Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara. Removal from there on Wednesday morning the 21st March to the Methodist Church, Ardara for service at 11am, followed by burial at the Church of Ireland Cemetery, Glenties. Elizabeth GRANT (née Duncan)
The death has occurred of Elizabeth Grant (Libby) (nee Duncan) of 42 Lisnenan Court, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal and formerly New Houses, Carrigans, Co.Donegal. Libby will be sadly missed by her husband Shane, sons Shane Jr, Oran and Jack and also by her mother Florence (Carrigans), brothers Richard (Killygordan), Aaron, Dean and sister Sandra (Carrigans). Also by her nieces and nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her father James and sister Amanda.
Libby will repose at her residence from 6 o’clock today Tuesday until Thursday. Service of Thanksgiving in Monreagh Presbyterian Church, Carrigans on Thursday 22nd of March at 4pm with interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Oncology Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital care of any family member. Enquiries to Marleys Funeral Home, Drumany, Letterkenny. Family time from 11pm to 10 am each night and morning of the funeral.
