A man is to appear in court next month charged with the theft of a lorry in Stranorlar yesterday.
Donegal Daily yesterday first reported how the man was arrested following a high-profile Garda operation close to McClay’s Corner.
The man, who is in his 50s, was arrested and taken to Letterkenny Garda station for questioning.
He was charged under the Theft Act and will appear at Letterkenny District Court on April 9th.
A file on the matter has been prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The arrest followed an overall investigation into cross-border criminality.
