Tragic Donegal teacher Emmet Blain laid to rest

Donegal school teacher Emmet Blain was laid to rest this morning.

27-year-old Emmet tragically lost his life after suffering a fall in Dubai, where he had been working.

A huge crowd attended Emmet’s Funeral Mass at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Mountcharles to pay their respects and to say their last goodbyes to the popular young man.

There were moving scenes as members of St. Naul’s GAA Club hosted a guard of honour for their fellow GAA player and friend.

Emmet is survived by his loving parents Sean and Bridie, brother Gary and sister Jennifer, and extended family and friends.
