Nakita Burke won in her first ever track race this afternoon.
On the Mondo track at the Mary Peters Track in Belfast, Burke won the women’s 1,500m.
The Letterkenny AC woman finished in 4 minutes and 40.70 seconds.
In wet and blustery conditions, Burke saw off competition from Springwell’s Niamh Carr and Beechmont Harriers’ Catherine Diver to win.
