‘Time for a new chapter’ as Dale Gorman leaves Stevenage

Dale Gorman says it’s time for a new chapter after a five-year stint at Stevenage came to an end today.

The midfielder, who will turn 22 in June, had suffered a fractured ankle late in the season.

Gorman, who has been capped by Northern Ireland at U21 level, sustained the injury in a game against Coventry City.

Gorman joined Stevenage from Letterkenny Rovers in 2013 and is on the look-out for a new club having confirmed that he has left The Boro, for whom he scored three League goals in 62 appearances.

Just want to say thank you to everyone involved with @StevenageFC including the fans for the support in my 5 years with the club but now it’s time for a new chapter in my career – Thanks again and good luck in the future 🔴⚪️ pic.twitter.com/95EfMDG0Nx
