Donegal IFA plan talk and walk event in support of mental health

Ards Forest Park will hold a talk and walk event at 3 pm on the 27th of May in support of the green ribbon campaign.

The Let’s Talk and Walk events encourage people to take time out of their busy lives, go for a walk and support the campaign to change minds about mental health – one conversation at a time.

The Green Ribbon campaign is a month-long campaign during May to get people talking openly about mental health and to break the stigma of silence associated with mental health.

The hope is that these walks will provide an opportunity for farmers and their communities to take time out for a couple of hours to look after their well-being and support this very worthwhile campaign.

Ards Forest Park will be the only place in Donegal to hold one of these walks.

The IFA will host eight in total all over the country in an attempt to raise awareness for mental health.
