A huge congratulations to Finesse Gymnastics Club Juniors who competed at this year’s Gymnastics Ireland (GI) event “The Floor”.

The Floor is held at the national sports arena Dublin, the home of G.I.

The event provides gymnastics clubs with the opportunity to put on an entertainment spectacle for an enthusiastic crowd of gymnastics fans. The aim is to create an annual showcase to show everyone just how skilful, fun, entertaining & exciting our sport is.

For this event Gymnastics Ireland brings the X-Factor to “The Floor” with increased investment in stage lighting, video recording, social media walls, sound production, live streaming and a fantastic MC in the shape of Shay Byrne from RTE.

The girls competed against 21 other gymnastics team from all over Ireland.

They debuted their routine “Time” and they delivered a precise and flawless routine which included gymnastics, dance, tumbling and acro.

The girls patiently waited for the results. There were four trophies to be won. To say the team were delighted was an understatement when the MC announced the overall winners for theme and concept were Finesse Juniors.

This was a huge achievement considering it was the team’s first time competing at this event.

The Club would like to thank their coaches, Linda, Amber and Ellie  and also to Ciara.

Finesse Gymnastics Club Juniors :  Lucy Boyle, Caoimhe Carlin, Neasa Coyle, Ella Dunne, Orlagh Friel, Rhianna Friel, Aoife Haslette, Adele King, Susie Lavender, Ella McBride, Sequoya McGettigan, Olivia Plumb.
