The R238 road from Burnfoot to Buncrana has re-opened after last night’s fatal road crash.

A man in his 50s, understood to be from Buncrana, died when his motorbike was in collision with a car at Castleforward just before 5.30pm.

A full investigation has been launched by Gardai into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

All diversions which had been put in place have also been removed.
