Finn Valley AC’s Sommer Lecky goes in the IAAF World U20 Athletics Championships in Finland tomorrow.

The Castlederg high jumper is in action at the Ratina Stadium tomorrow morning in group B.

Lecky is among an 18-strong Irish squad that has traveled to Tampere with Neil Martin, also of Finn Valley AC, the Irish team leader.

In late June, Lecky won the Belfast International Meet at the Mary Peters Track when she leapt a 1.83 metres.

Lecky finished tenth in the Commonwealth Games in Australia earlier in the year and has a PB of 1.86m.
