Donegal are awaiting news of Paddy McGrath’s fitness after the Ardara defender picked up an injury in last night’s defeat to Dublin.
McGrath was forced off at half-time after shipping a heavy challenge in the first half’s latter passages.

McGrath went down under a high tackle from Niall Scully – who scored Dublin’s two goals in the 2-15 to 0-16 win at Croke Park – and it was a moment that could have resulted in, at least, a close-range free.
McGrath was replaced at the break by Neil McGee.
“He picked up a knock,” was as much as Donegal manager Declan Bonner could relay.
“We don’t know how bad he is. He’s just being checked out.”
Eoghan Ban Gallagher managed to last the full game, but received lengthy treatment at one stage too and Donegal will be anxious to have all their knocks and aches treated early ahead of a huge game against Roscommon next Saturday.
“It’s a balancing act,” Bonner said.
“You have to look at guys who played who will need recovery and other guys will need to get a bit of work done.”
