JOB VACANCIES: A Donegal packaging company, a market leader in its industry – are seeking to recruit a Process Technician to join their professional, dynamic and hardworking team.
RA Pacaistí, based in the Gweedore Business Park, in Derrybeg, is the market leader in Food To Go packaging.
We are currently seeking to recruit a Process Technician to support our production processes. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in a production environment, working hands on with production equipment and materials.
He/she will play a significant role in the delivery of key metrics including; Speed, Tool Change Time, Job Change Time and Downtime.
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to maintain accurate records of process and equipment data, using this information to enhance performance.
The successful candidate will be capable of identifying performance constraints in equipment and/or materials. These constraints will be resolved with the support of the Equipment Maintenance team or other Production personnel.
The successful candidate will have a mechanical engineering background coupled with the skills and experience of a high-volume production environment. Particular emphasis will be placed on technical aptitude and a can-do approach, the ability to work on one’s own initiative or as part of a team is essential.
This role is based in a multi shift operation where a flexible approach to working hours and meeting business needs will be required.
