Danny O’Donnell says his ambitious Milford want to get among the big boys in Division 1.

Milford, the intermediate champions of 2017, defeated Kilcar, last year’s senior champions, 3-10 to 1-10 at Moyle View Park yesterday, when Christopher Barrett, Darragh Black and Kane Barrett hit goals for a huge win.

“It’s a massive result,” O’Donnell said.

“It might look comfortable, but it’s never comfortable against a side like Kilcar.

“Our lads were really on it, big time. We targeted Kilcar here at home and Ballyshannon next week. We’re looking to push into the top five or six and that’s the ambition in the group.

“We went up to Kilcar earlier in the season and we pushed them to the pin of their collar. We don’t lack in any belief and Championship is in the mind too. We believe that we can compete will all of the team in Division 1.”
